Trustee Vacancy (Volunteer)

You might have useful knowledge and skills gained from your work or personal life that you’d like to share.
We’re looking for people to get involved in leading our charity and to help us develop our advice services for people in our communities who need them and to secure the vital resources we need to go forward.
We offer a full induction, and you need to be available to attend meetings 6-9 Wednesday evenings each year. This is a volunteer role which will provide you with a great deal of experience and satisfaction, and the opportunity to develop your skills and utilise your expertise and knowledge.
People from all backgrounds are welcome and we aspire to have a diverse trustee board that reflects our clients and communities. we particularly welcome applications from women and minority ethnicities who are currently underrepresented on our board.
You do not need experience working or volunteering with Citizens Advice service. We are looking for people with a wide variety of skills and a diversity of experiences. We would particularly welcome at this time people with experience in the law/governance or experience of managing/training volunteers.
