Volunteers Needed
Following consistently high demand for our Free, Confidential, Impartial and Independent advice in all areas, we are currently recruiting volunteers for roles in reception, admin, advising and research and campaigns.
We are dedicated to continuing to deliver high-quality advice services through our Face-to-face advice in Hereford, Bromyard, Leominster, Kington, Ross-on-wye and Peterchurch, alongside our telephone and email advice to ensure that people in Herefordshire have the advice they need to deal with the problems they face, and our volunteers play a very significant role in meeting this need.
These are regular roles with full training being provided. We’re looking for those able to make the time commitment of a minimum of one day per week, two (during training) for advice roles, who are passionate about making a difference for people in Herefordshire and are:
· Good at listening
· Able to work in a team
· Open-minded and non-judgmental
· Able to use a computer with Windows
These roles would suit someone who would like to either build skills and experience for the workplace or maintain them to stay mentally active. We welcome applicants from all walks of life and backgrounds who can meet the requirements for the role.
Our next training programme will be starting on Thursday 5th September.
